I’m a sound editor, sound designer, and re-recording mixer based in Los Angeles. As Lead Sound Editor at GoodShort, I lead sound editorial and mixing for vertical scripted series, with recent work expanding into AI-generated storytelling.

Originally from Ningbo, China, I hold an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California. My work spans narrative film, documentary, animation, and immersive media. I’m drawn to sound’s ability to deepen emotion and give a world character—from a creature’s voice to the subtle Foley details that make a scene feel alive.

My experience includes dialogue editing, Foley and hard effects editing, effects and background design, music editing, and re-recording mixing, alongside team leadership and workflow development. Projects I’ve contributed to have received recognition from the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, the Telly Awards, the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes, and the Student Academy Awards, and have been exhibited internationally in museums, planetariums, and galleries.
